Crystal is a native Arizonian, born in Glendale. Her family moved to Prescott in 1968 where she attended Taylor Hicks Elementary, Prescott Jr. High and graduated from Prescott High School. She is surrounded by three older and one younger brother, along with caregiving for her dad. She is a proud mentor of her three great nephews and a great niece, ages 14-9.
After graduation she had made her homes in Colorado, Arizona & California. Her son is a Prescottonian but they found themselves back in California after he was born. She feels her greatest accomplishment is raising a strong, independent, loving young man. She is a grandma of twin girls who just turned 2 and misses them dearly as they reside in California.
She came back to Prescott to help her dad build a “straw bale” house after the passing of her stepmom. She had started volunteering her time with United Way at the warehouse for the people of Yarnell who lost their homes in the fire. They asked if she could manage the warehouse, which the answer was a resounding yes. After the warehouse closed she stayed in non-profit working at Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation for over four (4) years. She is thrilled to be working with Boys to Men Mentoring and is looking forward to a long relationship.
